Turquoise Spa was started by Stella Akilova, who was previously a top-requested bikini waxist at Bliss Spa, one of the city's most popular spas. She has waxed the likes of Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Chelsea Clinton. Turquoise Spa specializes in the use of specialty waxes, such as Lycon wax, a low-temperature lavendar wax known for reduced pain. Besides waxing services, Turquoise Spa provides a range of Spa services to pamper your every need. The manicures and pedicures will last longer than any others you have and it is a small business, you feel like you are the only person there which is so much nicer than the factory feel of some other "big" spas. A 50% deposit is required on all day and special packages and is non-refundable if cancellation is given less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled date.
