An Eye M.D. is an Ophthalmologist – a medical doctor who specializes in eye and vision care. Eye M.D.s are specially trained to provide the full spectrum of eye care – medical, surgical, and optical.Dr. Levinson established his ophthalmology practice in Potomac, MD over 30 years ago. He has a tradition of gentle, personalized eye care. His daughter, Dr. Wenger joined his practice in 2000 to continue his tradition.Both Dr. Levinson and Dr. Wenger are board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and have numerous credit hours of continuing medical education. They are both active fellows of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.Dr. Levinson and Dr. Wenger are members of the Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington. They are both volunteer eye providers for EyeCare America. Dr. Wenger also provides eye care for the Primary Care Coalition’s Project Access.Dr. Levinson and Dr. Wenger are both graduates of George Washington University School of Medicine.
