Dr. Al Cohn is our Medical Director. Originally from Columbus, GA, Dr. Al Cohn is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has an active private plastic surgical practice based out of Brookwood Hospital affiliated with the Norwood Clinic and performs surgery at various locations throughout the city. Dr. Cohn completed college and medical school at Duke University and the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, respectively. He then completed a combined general surgery and plastic surgery residency at University of Chicago and was selected to receive additional sub-specialty training in breast reconstruction and advanced aesthetic/cosmetic surgery under the tutelage of local mentor and friend, Dr. James Grotting.
