Pretty good for a tiny store by Brandon K. at InsiderPages “ Surprisingly, Bolfing's has pretty much all the random hardware you'd need. Prices are actually pretty reasonable compared to your Home Depot, etc. The staff is mostly helpful, though the turnover can be high. The older the employee, the better I've found. I usually go here when I just need one little random thing. You couldn't built an awesome tree-fort exclusively from Bolfing's, but if you need some screws or a small can of spray paint, it's a great place to go. Also, they always have random displays in the window which are pretty cool. My favorite was a cardboard cutout of Legolas holding a rake. Ahhh Berkeley. ”   Citysearch User – 8/28/2007

Cool and green “ This is a very cool little hardware store in the Elmwood area of Berkeley. They have begun stocking a whole array of green products which I am thrilled about! They even have a mold remover called Mold Avenger that works with enzymes - so cool! They are part of something called Green it Yourself. ”   Citysearch User – 5/30/2007
