I had a great move with Apple Movers! “ Normally I don't do evaluations (too lazy), but these dudes were so cool and on time and hardworking. These guys are bad news... “ I used Apple on a move from Chicago to Los Angeles. These guys are located in New York and they use subcontractors that they can't control. Apple delivered my things late and tried to double the price that they had quoted me. The stuff on their site about not charging for packing is wholly inaccurate. I packed almost my entire apartment and they still attempted to charge $800 for boxes. They wrapped dish boxes end-to-end around the couple of items I asked them to pack. If you use Apple, be sure that you pay with a credit card and make them stick to their ads that say they honor them. Even with the credit card, it still took about a month to sort out their bill. On the up-side, they didn't break anything major...though I slept on the floor all the nights they were late. ”   vicemuffin – 12/11/2004

Are you serious? “ First of all, I was told that Apple Movers was a bonified moving company - with thier own trucks, personel, etc. I was given a quote from my own bedroom apartment to storage - I was happy with the quote. Then, on the day of my move, another compant showed up at my house, late and rude. Then I was given another quote, higher than what apple gave me. Then when all was said and done, my third quote was for over $1100!!!! I have a one bed room apartment. The movers worked for under three hours and I was expected to pay $1100. I have not recieved call backs from apple movers, and it seems they dont have any trucks. They seem third party madness. Poor service, its a joke! Beware. ”   plaster – 3/29/2004
