Support groups are formed when people with similar issues come together to commiserate and to help find a fixative for their general ills or problems. Support can help to change a life, make a problem go away, or create a sense of togetherness in a community. Support groups can even save a life. Sometimes there are those individuals who simply respond better discussing their troubles with like-minded people than with counselors and professionals certified to help them.
