In the high speed, high stimulus environments we live in the lesson of mindfulness is a matter of key importance. The world we live in teaches us to remain in this high paced race toward the next gratifying stimulus. This can leave us feeling empty and lost; this article articulates the importance of remaining in the present and fully appreciating the now. There is a certain sadness that comes with the realization that it is through an article that we need be taught this lesson. Nevertheless, the integral value of this lesson should lead to a more complete, happy and healthy life. It may very well be the key to enhancing both physical and mental health.
